Vineyards

We source all our fruit from local Michigan vineyards – never from out of state and never already processed. As of now, there is no commercial source of organic wine grapes from Michigan vineyards for us to buy (if you know of any, please reach out!) For that reason and many others, we choose to work with hybrid grape varieties, which are traditionally bred crosses between American and European grape species. In a humid climate like Michigan, these grapes require ~ 1/2 the spray inputs in the vineyard compared to traditional European varieties while introducing new wine flavors.

Please check out the amazing growers we’ve had the opportunity to work with and have current wines from!

Our Vineyard

While working with these grapes commercially for three vintages, we’ve also been trialing growing them in our own small vineyard in Allegan, MI.

In fall 2025, our family purchased property in Fennville, MI. We’ll begin planting our own commercial vineyard in spring 2026. This vineyard will be managed organically. It will be several years before we have any fruit for winemaking, but we’ll keep you posted on our progress!
