Ben Ramsay
Co-owner, Head Brewer, Assistant Winemaker
Ben homebrewed for 10 years prior to being head brewer for Heronmark. He also has an MBA and manages the business side. He’s passionate about classical European beer styles made with local ingredients.
Katelyn Ramsay
Co-owner, Winemaker
Katelyn has a Bachelor’s in physics from Western Michigan University and also studied at the Wine & Viticulture program at Lake Michigan College. She’s passionate about scientific advancements in viticulture while staying true to wine’s roots with minimalist winemaking techniques.
Seth Sausaman
Bartender, Jack of all trades
Seth managed in retail for 10 years prior to Heronmark, and he brings his organization and steadfastness to the business. He started as a bartender, but now helps with everything from brewing to winemaking while working on his college degree.
Hans Wagner
Bartender
Hans worked at Waypost Brewing (RIP) before coming to Heronmark and has great stories and experience to share. He works part-time behind the bar (ask him about his day job, it’s super cool!).
